Cosmopunk: A Starfinder Podcast

Having extracted Logoss from Radar's mind and restoring his pre-gap memories, the crew decide to relax by simply running the bar and by not sleepwalking into any more brain-based misadventure... but that doesn't last for long. The crew still owe Weird Al some drones as payment for the ancient mind traversal device, and Vee has been cooking up a plan for how to 'acquire' some.

On the last episode, Ryder and Vee set down to heal after their traumatic fight with Logoss. Vee falls asleep, but enters a dream that is not their own. They are piloting a colossal war mech. Vee comes to the conclusion that they have taken on the role of past-Radar, experiencing one of his dreams. With Vee, is their fiancé, Lucca, who was tragically taken from Vee in the real world, but here, she is also a mech pilot. Perhaps she's surplanting a partner that Radar had, once? They don't have much time to put the pieces together before the opposition fights back against their mechs, blasting Lucca's into oblivion. Vee lashes out, just before waking up next to Ryder. Continuing through the memory corridors - they finally reach an origin memory, where Radar was first discovered by the crew. Our heroes are close to the source of Radar's malady...

Previously, Vee and Ryder used a strange headset device to enter a tangible render of Radar's mind. There are branches of twisting corridors containing his memories and vicious mechanical tendrils which have attached themselves to various thoughts. In an attempt to defend themselves, the crew discover that they can create things in this place, but trying to construct the unfamiliar will give them a nasty headache... Travelling further down the corridor of memory, Vee and Ryder are attacked by more tendrils, but use their weapons to shatter the abstraction around them. They tumble down into a sunken place. And that's when they meet an old enemy - Logoss. After a violent clash with the colossus, Vee attempts to manifest the entire Laika-7, thrusting it like a dagger into Logoss's chest. The giant vanishes, leaving Ryder and Vee to dust themselves off after the fight and try to make sense of who or what they just fought...

Last time, the crew set up an old arcade game cabinet in their bar, but then discover that Radar has had some kind of cybernetics malfunction. Vee heads to a local junkshop in order to find some kind of converter system that will allow for a diagnostic of Radar's ancient millitary tech cyborg interface. Vee aquires a full-immersion VR machine, which should be compatable with Radar's ports. After hooking the device up to Radar, Vee and Ryder attempt to use the machine, finding themselves in a manifested world inside Radar's brain. Now trapped in a place where memories and imagination can become tangible, the Vesk and the Ysoki push further into the coyote's mind...

Boss Fight Time! After infiltrating the massive pyramid in the center of the Dead City, the party encounter Daave and Zuul. They reveal their plans to free themselves from this digital prison, by using Captain Meyor and the glaive as a key. After Daave transforms into a massive monster, the final battle begins. Felix was transported to the realm of kings and has just returned with the legendary glaive. Time to put an end to this ancient conflict, once and for all!

Having infiltrated the dead city, the party make their way towards the pyramid. Finding themselves in another vision, they see onboard the Sajik Sajett, where mechanical constructs appear in the form of Dave and Eve. Then the enraged farmer takes vengeance for his murdered family. In the chaos of battle, the farmer and Dave merge, to form a new, deadly adversary.
While the party are trying to piece everything together, they are attacked by the assassin with golden eyes. At this point, Felix decides to down the entire bag of dubious magical powder he bought from the Dwarves, giving him temporary fire magic. After dispatching the assassin, the party encounter Virgil and his band, who reveal more of the Sajik Sajett's tragic fate. Now with all the pieces of the puzzle, the party agree to protect the lives of the long forgotten crew by confronting the creature known as DAAVE, and his allies. Our heroes get some well deserved rest ... For the final battle, is about to begin!
